Cedarwood Oil Origin and Extraction

Cedarwood Oil is derived from the Cedar Wood tree, a conifer that grows in cold climates and high altitudes. Steam distillation is used to extract the oil from the wood pieces.  A potent product, it is among the stronger of the essential oils.
